Zam-Buk: Magic In A Tin

If you've never heard of Zam-Buk I'd like to recommend that you keep some in your First Aid box.

This unassuming ointment is still the original Victorian formulation which has soothed generations of cuts, bruises, sores, blisters, burns, rashes, insect bites and chapped skin.

But I love it for its ability to draw splinters! Just spread some Zam-Buk on the skin, or on a plaster, cover with the plaster and leave it for a day or two. Keep reapplying until the splinter is out.
